The Jigawa Journal of Educational Research (JJER), is a peer-reviewed journal published biannually by the Faculty of Education, Sule Lamido University Kafin Hausa, Jigawa State, Nigeria. The Journal publishes papers from all fields in education. The main purpose of the Journal is to contribute to knowledge building process on education by providing a forum for scholarly discourse on the role of education in enhancing human capabilities and well-being. Hence, the journal contributes to the development of both theory and practice in the field of education. For this purpose, the Journal publishes original research and other scholarly creations of academic value that contribute to human understandings of education and its processes. As an open access Journal, it aims at sharing the knowledge, values and skills among individuals and communities with the ultimate aim of spreading knowledge. Therefore, the Journal accepts high quality papers for review and possible publication in all areas of education. JJER is committed to publishing significant, high-quality research in the field of Education through a fair, rapid and rigorous peer-review process that is overseen by a team of professional Editors. Noteworthy, both empirical and theoretical papers are accepted, though empirical papers are strongly preferred. JJER accepts manuscripts on an ongoing basis.
