About the Journal
Current Issue
We are delighted to present the Volume 4, Issue 1 of the Jigawa Journal of
Educational Research (JJER). The Jigawa Journal of Educational Research
(JJER) is a peer-reviewed journal published biannually by the Faculty of
Education, Sule Lamido University Kafin Hausa, Jigawa State. The Journal
publishes papers from all fields in education. The main purpose of the Journal is
to contribute to knowledge building process on education by providing a forum
for scholarly discourse on the role of education in enhancing human capabilities
and well-being. For this purpose, the Journal publishes original research and other
scholarly creations of academic value that contribute to human understandings of
education and its processes. We aim at sharing the knowledge, values and skills
among individuals and communities with the ultimate aim of spreading
knowledge. Therefore, the Journal accepts high quality papers for review and
possible publication in all areas of education. Thus, the Editorial Board calls for
well-researched papers/manuscripts to be published in Volume 4, Issue 1, 2025,
edition of the journal scheduled for January/April, 2025.

Hence, the journal contributes to the development of both theory and practice in the field of education. For this purpose, the Journal publishes original research and other scholarly creations of academic value that contribute to human understandings of education and its processes. As an open access Journal, it aims at sharing the knowledge, values and skills among individuals and communities with the ultimate aim of spreading knowledge. Therefore, the Journal accepts high quality papers for review and possible publication in all areas of education. JJER is committed to publishing significant, high-quality research in the field of Education through a fair, rapid and rigorous peer-review process that is overseen by a team of professional Editors. Noteworthy, both empirical and theoretical papers are accepted, though empirical papers are strongly preferred. JJER accepts manuscripts on an ongoing basis.
The journal is published in both print and online versions. JJER is currently indexed in CrossRef, Google Scholar, Sule Lamido University Kafin Hausa Libraries, ResearchGate, Journals for free, ACADEMIA
SLU JJER is currently accepting submission anytime of the year. Authors are encouraged to make submissions to this reputable journal.
